The mystery sample I received was most like Polypropylene because

the tests on the polypropylene and the mystery sample came out with
almost the exact same results. The hardness was the exact same (2),
they are both flexible, they are both less dense than water, less dense
than saltwater, less dense than water-alcohol mixture, and more dense
than alcohol. They also did not react to hydrochloric acid or acetone.
The only differences they had were characteristics that were able to
be seen including what color they both were (Polypropylene was blue,
mystery was clear) and the crease color (Polypropylene was light blue,
mystery was clear.) There were no other types of plastic that were
close to as similar the Polypropylene was to this mystery plastic.
Polypropylene contains plastics like ketchup bottles and yogurt bottles.
The mystery plastic would fit these bottles descriptions because it's
not as hard as others, they are not as heavy or dense, and are
somewhat flexible. My mystery plastic was Polypropylene.
