It is my pleasure to recommend Meredith Linam for a teaching position with your school
district.
Meredith has been my intern this semester and has done an exceptional job. She is
organized, efficient, competent, and has an excellent work ethic. She turns lesson plans in
on time, seeks new ideas to keep things fresh for the kids, and is open to suggestions to help
her become a better teacher.
Meredith has maintained control of all classes and established rapport with her students at
the same time. I feel confident in saying she is capable of handling any situation with
thoughtfulness and maturity. I have no reservations leaving my students in her care.
Meredith went above and beyond the requirements of her internship. She attended
basketball games and a track meet because her students asked her to be there. She
arranged a college visit to the University of Arkansas for our college prep class and was our
tour guide for the morning session of that college visit. She brought in two guest speakers to
talk to our Career Development class about entrepreneurship. She created meaningful and
rigorous projects for our classes.
Meredith will be an asset wherever she finds employment. If I can be of any further
