The scramble for africa was a Combination of battles that took place

between 1880 and 1913.
caused by many Europian nations claiming land previously inhabited
by Native African tribes.

Around 1913 all of the land was devided between Europian nations
and created into europian lands.

By 1913 the entirety of tribal africa melts away into European colonies.

The reason as to why Europeans wanted Africa is because they wanted to exploit Africa.
Their justification for this(even though it is false) is because they believed that the were
were superior to the people of africa and had to guide them as the superior civilization.
