Over 13 years of successful management and leadership

Producing higher performance standards and enhancing
productivity during a period of shrinking budgets.
Maintenance departments. As head of the Maintenance
Department for a 5,400 personnel unit, repaired major
automotive equipment, increasing the effective resource
utilization rate from 46% to 98.7% in less than 12
months. This resulted in a combat readiness rate of over
99%.
Controlling production management - able to motivate
and maximize productivity and employee morale
without substantial incentives. Took a unit with the
lowest performance level (out of 7 units) and improved
to #1 ranking in less than 12 months.

Developing and implementing highly successful


strategic plans (short and long term). Established
inventory/purchasing control systems that gained
accountability for millions of dollars in equipment, thus
reducing inventory purchases by $250,000.

Professional Experience
United States Army, 2000 2014
Sergeant First Class Currently serving on active duty with
the U.S. Army. Gained upper-level manager status.
Participated in the complete revitalization and overhaul of the
U.S. Military in general - and the U.S. Army specifically - from
the harsh status perceived in the 70s, 80s and 90s to the
most powerful and effective military in history.
An active participant in the swift/forceful turnaround of the
armed forces that led to the U.S. victory in Operation Iraqi
Freedom 01, 04 and 06. A successful record for managing
complex organizations, supervising thousands of people
through hundreds of line-management personnel, responsible
for millions of dollars in assets. Specific duties and
achievements include:

Management: In charge of one of the largest motor pools consisting of 360


wheeled vehicles, 50 generators, and 50 personnel
Maintenance Platoon. Managed the repair of various
multimillion dollar weapons systems and equipment that, in
less than 12 months, went from Non mission capable to
combat ready. These systems were highly instrumental in the
success of the Iraqi Freedom operation. Upgraded training
curriculum and methods, cross-trained personnel in job duties
resulting in lower supervision requirements and a significant
cost savings in repair parts purchases.
Operations & Was the primary maintenance advisor to the Commander for
Logistics: 5400 men, responsible for over $25 million of equipment.
Managed a $550,000 budget. Responsible for controlling the
procurement of durable and expendable items under the
budget. An awarded asset in planning and executing complex
operations with 96% accuracy and success, including the
scheduling and movement of hundreds of pieces of equipment
and personnel and the timely transfer of millions of dollars
worth of equipment to support and maintain operations.
Maintenance Managed and controlled the Maintenance Department of a
& 5400-person unit responsible for budgets, materials, and
Cost Control: resources. Improved the effective resource utilization rate
from 46% to 98.7% in less than 12 months, resulting in a 99%
combat readiness rate. A highly skilled technical individual,
computer literate, able to maximize productivity with less than
minimal resources.
Training & Spent two years as a US Army Drill Sergeant. Trained and
Development: instructed more than 700 Soldiers and prepared them for
combat deployment. Planned and developed Unit level training
for over 200 personnel, resulting in subordinates excelling in
all evaluated areas. Developed programs that increased
overall job skills, and knowledge that was detrimental to
mission success.
