Dear Tammie Lang,
During the past semester you have heard students complain about dorms, but are willing to accept living spaces with alternatives/improvements. Students have also displayed their disapproval of the college meal plan. You can help students excel by allowing the student dorms to have upgrades (interior and exterior). Construction teams could be willing to assist in the renovations of the college dorms. It is also vital that the college gets rid of the automatic food plan for every student resident. Students should not have to pay over five hundred dollars for a meal plan every quarter. Especially if the left over money from the account is not transferred over to the next quarter. Devoting time and energy into improving the dorms will give Southeast Community College an enhanced image. The overall cost of the renovation project is quoted at $300,000 for materials. New dorm halls should be completed within a year. You can play a vital role with making Southeast Community College a more desirable place to learn and grow. If you have any questions about more details please email me at Wiesernathan@yahoo.com or fax me through the college. Sincerely, Nathan Wieser
