I am writing this recommendation letter on the behalf of Karina Desai.

Karina has been a very supportive volunteer to our fellow students at the Leaven. She has been
a great asset to our team. She began as a volunteer January 2016. Katrina is great with the kids
and in assisting me. She takes initiative, engages very well with every one. She is a very
patient, happy person. She was very dedicated and she always went above and beyond to help
out.
Our community based organization mentors, tutors children in a after-school program in
struggling neighborhoods, aiding them in education, physical heath, and helping change lives.
I have had the pleasure to work with Katrina for several months. With her departure, it will be
difficult to find another individual that will have similar skills.
