Dear Eric:
I am writing you to express my concern about our relationship and the management of my
wealth. Over the past few months I have felt a tremendous lack of discernment on your behalf.
The schedule I have to adhere to everyday leaves me with little time to manage my portfolio,
which in turn, is the reason I hired you. I have also had the long time feeling that my wealth is
being mismanaged. Returns on my investments have been at a stand still, therefore, I would like
to make a transfer of my funds to another account outside of JP Morgan Chase & Co. unless the
guidelines of this letter have been recognized and agreed to.
As of today, I am requesting that we speak weekly by phone or email about the progress of my
investments. I find myself sometimes not hearing from you for weeks at a time. This absence of
communication has left me no choice but to file a complaint with JP Morgan Chase & Co. A
personal relationship with my financial advisor is something of high importance to me. I feel
better investment decisions can be made for the client when there is a greater communication
level. Opening the doors to better communication will not only let you help me better, but for me
to express better where I would like my wealth invested.
More importantly, I have come to the conclusion my investments have the potential to grow
much faster than what they are. My savings account is only showing a four percent interest rate.
At this rate, it would make no difference to have my money sitting at a commercial bank. I
would like to place this savings into another account to accumulate greater interest within a
shorter span of time. Savings are very important for me right now as I am nearing retirement and
also trying to set aside money for my childs college fund.
Communication is key to the success of my investments and our relationship. I greatly feel these
issues and the need for me to file a complaint could have been avoided if your communication
with me was stronger. I look forward to hearing a clear solution from you to resolve these two
issues.
