I disagree with this statement. I believe that natural justice does exist.

Mortimer
says that governments respect the natural rights that are vested in men already, but
enforcing them as laws is just securing them. It is also stated that just like men have the
freedom to physically say what they and want and think as they want it is the same for
natural justice. Natural justice has to do with morals and what is naturally right or
wrong. If there wasnt a law prohibiting murder would it still be wrong? Yes. It is
naturally wrong to kill someone. Just like it is naturally wrong to take something that
someone has worked for and then paid for and then someone come and steal it.
Governments dont classify things as wrong or right. There are laws saying we cant
murder not because we dont know its wrong, but because just because someone knows
its wrong doesnt mean they wont do it. If there wasnt a law stating it is against the law
to murder someone murder would still be bad, and same for any law like that. This is the
same when it has to do with something morally right. Just because something is in the
law it doesnt mean it is morally right. Someone can be just because of natural justice,
but unjust because they of conventional justice which is when governments have laws
for which way to drive on the road rather than morals. There is a difference between the
law that states that someone has to 16 in order to drive on their own and the laws that
state for us not to kill or steal. The difference is that everyone knows right from wrong,
but some laws are for a more organized society. This is why I think natural justice does
exist.
