INSTRUCTIONS FOR DECLARATION OF VALUE (DOV) PROCEDURE
Kindly follow the instructions given below to complete the Declaration of Value:
1. Obtain the HRD attestation from the State where the Degree/ document
(http://www.vfsattestation.com/documents.asp) has been
issued and the Apostille from the Ministry of External Affairs

2. Obtain the translation of the document from recognized translators

3. Apply for the verification of the Study document at VFS

Kindly note that during the verification process this Consulate General will not provide
any information.
The applicant will receive a notification from VFS once the verification process is
completed.
The applicant will present the documents to VFS, to be submitted for DOV.
Kindly note that the processing time for DOV is considered from the day VFS has
submitted the DOV application to the Consulate
During high season the processing time will be longer than usual.
Please do not call/do not write to this Consulate General of Italy to hasten the
process of DOV.
