ABSTRACT
Sports psychology is defined as the scientific
discipline of behavior and cognitive reactions
affects the sport. It examines the psychological
life of the athletes in terms of sports activity. It
studies mental processes, physical abilities and
conditions at the athlete. It deals with the
psychological preparation of athletes, the
psychosocial dynamics of the sports group,
methods
of
psychological
preparation,
characteristics of successful sports coach etc.
