Chapter 19 Apply Your Expertise #1
In a previous job I was often involved in completing tasks that required teamwork and for
everyone to be on the same page. I found that everyone is different from their learning abilities to
their backgrounds in the subjects. From the chapter a few skills that I believe are most important
are communication, leading by example, flexibility, and knowledge. I could have approached
some of those skills differently such as the communication aspect; by communicating early and
often to receive feedback of workers, the tasks can be more accurately accomplished. Leading by
example, flexibility, and knowledge all go together as showing some workers is better than
telling them, but also knowing their knowledge of the subjects and being flexible to allow them
to do the assigned worker how they need to.
