Ephesians summary and notes

I affirm that I read the six assigned chapters of Ephesians.
Chapter two is a summary of who we are without Christ and what
Christ did to set us free. He preached near and far to express that if
people believe and understand the grace of God, we are able to
approach Him freely and confidently. 2:4-10 Paul explains that God
saved us from all of this. We are made alive Christ. Through his grace
we are gifted with his kindness, riches, and favor. We are created to do
good works. Paul continues to pray that we can appreciate His glorious
riches and that we can further understand His love. Chapter 4:1-6
really stood out to me because this is what I see in myself and how I
have grown up to be. 4:1-6 Paul tells us to take advantage of the new
life we were given and that we didnt deserve. These are great verses
that remind us to live a life worthy of the calling you have received.
We are to be humble, gentle, retain peace, and love others.
We must remember to keep the unity of the Spirit through the
bond of peace. This is important to me because I believe this is what
much of the World lacks. He continues on to express that we need to
take advantage of the new life we were given that we didnt deserve.
We need to spread the Word that was sent down to us. Ephesians is
key for someone pursuing his or her Christian Faith and Life. It begins
with the basics in how what God did for us is something not to be taken
likely. The magnitudes of His love and power that he blessed us with.
Then it goes on to direct us on spreading His word to maximize the
love and faith across the earth. It reminds us to drop and stay away
from our old selves as well as to continue to stay focused and pure

with our actions and thoughts. I really learned a lot and appreciate this
chapter. I now feel more informed and knowledgeable on my faith.
