Records:A Slovenian has cycled the biggest distance on an exercise bicycle, while the country
hosted the biggest gathering of accordions.
1. Another world record was broken when a crowd of 1,272 people, mostly pupils and their
parents, including an STA team, gathered to paint the walls of ten primary schools.
2. Skier Tina Maze earned herself a place in the book by sharing for the first time ever a gold
medal in Alpine skiing at the Soi Winter Olympics.
3. Another breathtaking Slovenian achievement is a gigantic postcard, measuring 52.48 sq.
meters.
4. A tourist attraction Predjamski grad, a 35-metre high fortress built in a cliff near Postojna,
was included in the book on the authors' initiative.
5. "This is quite extraordinary. In the last years, the castle is being listed among ten most
prominent, striking castles in the world. We have nothing to do with that, people noticed it
by themselves
