10 Lloyd Alter- How to Rebrand the Sustainability Movement

People want comfort and efficiency but not sustainability which is

worth a lot more. Fundamentally people want to be happy, but also they
have to look at the environment. Like for an example, people love cars but
they use an enormous amounts of gas. Not much of the population cares
about how much gas youre wasting and killing the environment. As said by
Lloyd Alter, When cars get more efficient, they get bigger. This is a
fundamental problem. Is there a way to reduce the usage of vehicles? Yes
there is. Increase taxes on them, increase gas prices, drive bikes. We need to
stop building cities around vehicles and build them around people who are
the ones that are living on this earth.
