of world cultures and civilizations, philosophies, and religions.

Students come into the classroom, with festive Chinese music playing, and
decorated Chinese lanterns hanging all over the room. There is an empty space in
the middle of the room with supplies spread out. Students will spend the class
creating their own Chinese lanterns while learning about Chinese New Year. This
activity would also be a good introduction to world cultures, religions, and holidays.
