To Whom It May Concern:
It is my pleasure to write this letter of recommendation for Nicholas Fong. I have known Nick
for almost two years as his high school counselor. Nick has completed college prep courses in order to
meet his high school graduation requirements, focusing on the visual, media, and performing arts.
In addition to academics, Nick has been involved in boxing outside of school during his junior
and senior year. Nick also contributes to the community. Nick has been an active member of a local
church and has volunteered in the AWANA program and Childrens Bible Study program as a leader of
both. Nick has also volunteered as a tutor at the The Leaven, a local center for students to complete
homework and have a safe and nurturing place to hang out after school.
Nick is able to balance a rigorous schedule with school, community service and working at
Brendan Theater. Nick has a great sense of humor and is great at brightening peoples days. I have
enjoyed watching Nick perform with our vocal ensemble. Nick is talented and calm, he is able to
achieve under pressure. Nick will continue to be successful and well balanced.
