As what you have seen in the video.

Jerusalem was burned and the walls of the city were torn
down. After an 18 month siege the Babylonian armies broke through the walls of Jerusalem and
took the city. This event is only one example where there are many victims that badly needs help.
Jeremiah a heartbroken prophet laments over the destruction of Jerusalem, and over the horrors
that came upon God's people. He even wrote a book Lamentation in the bible as an expression of
his great sorrow about the destruction.
It is no doubt a difficult thing to trust in the Lord when there is such a strong enemy and
circumstances like this right? It is more tempting to only think of what is the best for ourselves and
bring less consideration to others especially when your survival rate yourself seems to be not so
certain. Am I right? But Jeremiah chose to stay among people who were left in the land. Poor people
who were going to need all the encouragement and help that they could get. After all that Jeremiah
been through, he chose to provide the needs especially the spiritual needs of the group. He was
weak and afraid but yet he chose to see the thigns that others cant see and didnt chose to see.
He .became sensitive of the needs of his fellowmen, trust in the name of the Lord and involved
himself again in in Gods service.
May we be in the right foot as we start our day today and as we start this month of December (mag
chrichristmas na). like Jeremiah, we may. became sensitive of the needs of our fellowmen, trust in
the name of the Lord and be involved in His service. Coz it is only through helping others that we
can experience happiness that is more that a mere hahahaha., forget our own problems and
experience the omnipotence of the Lord the we serve..
