Thecommunityhasaskedforthefollowingequipment:

Theseesawmustbeadjustable,allowingpeopleofvariousweightstobeplaytogether.
Participantsshouldnotneedacalculator,justtheknowledgeofhowmuchtheyweigh.

Slide
(Frictionandinclinedplane)
Usingfriction,theslidemustbesafe,notallowinguserstomovetoofast,butstillabletohave
fun.

Merrygoround
(Centripetalmotion)
Merrygoroundmustbesafe,notallowingsomeonetospinitfastenoughtobedangerous
(unlessitisdesignedtokeeppassengersinplace.)

Swings
(Pendulum)
Swingsmustbesafewithconsiderationmadeforkidswhowishtojumpfromthearc.

Youwillworkaspartofateamof2or3todesigntheequipment,createaproposalandpresent
ittothecommunityforconsideration.Thecommunityasawholewillthenselecttheequipment
thatwillbebuilt.

Visualsofplaygroundlayout
Oral/visualpresentation(23minutes)arguingwhyyourproposalisthemostcuttingedgeand
fun,aswellassafe(Youaresellingaproduct)

Yourdesignsshouldbeoriginalcreationsormodificationsofexistingequipment.
