‘To Whom It May Concer: Thave had the distinct pleasure of having Sergio Velasquez as a student in my United States History and Anthropology classes for the last two years at NOVA Academy Early College High School. Sergio has been a good and dedicated student. In the last two years I have seen Sergio grow both as an academic student and as a person, He has showed that when he puts his ‘mind and effort toward a goal, he will stop at nothing until he achieves those goals. ‘The academics at NOVA Academy Early College High Schoo! are most challenging, and Sergio has fulfilled all the requirements. He has also proved to be able to work well with other students and loves to participate in class discussions and debates. Sergio is also extremely involved with our school, he played a key role helping move our school to a new building two years ago and he often volunteers during the summer to help teachers with any projects or activities they need. During the last two years Sergio has participated in school activities such as Battle of the Sexes and Family Feuds.
