Revising the daily routine with the students


Objectives stated on the board
Modeling correct sentence formation through speaking
Prompting and eliciting answers about pictures on the PPT
Using body language to explain taking a bath
Clear instructions provided about the board game
Displaying each groups answer
Asking the student to read the sentences they matched
Using oral positive feedback and clapping
The sticks activity is a good speaking practice to evaluate
understanding
Used variety of interaction patterns such as group, pair and whole
class
Asking individual ones to come and present the card in front of others
Choosing the quietest student to answer
Playing the dice game with the students to promote speaking and reviewing
concepts
Asking the students to write the full sentence on the board
Good to support struggling students while writing on the board
Tried to talk to Fatema to prompt her to answer the worksheet
Did not give the sticker to Fatema for her bad behavior
Praising good answers with stickers
Better lesson plan this time, but check the language
Showing the students a video, better to attract their attention
After watching the songs asked the students to act with the song when
played again
Acting with the students

The stages in the lesson plan were not matching what is happening in
class
MST is still intervening in the lesson but you stopped her
Keep talking to the students in English rather than speaking in Arabic
Keep your eyes on the whole class which checking the groups answers,
some were not paying attention
Prompt the students to speak and discuss their pictures more
Better to ask Fatema to come and play since she refused to come up
Tell the students to add a full stop at the end of the sentence
Try to stop Fatema from doing the bad behavior
Display the worksheet and model an answer with them
Take the matching board from them, they were copying from it
Give early finishers a task to do rather than waiting for others
Add more details to the personal focus in the lesson plan
Some students were tired of waiting
Tell the students to act with the song
