Ex: Thomas, but you can call me Tom.
2. Where are you from?
Ex: Im from Canada.
3. What languages do you speak?
Ex: I speak Japanese, English, and a little bit of Spanish.
4. How long have you been living in the US?
Ex: Oh, about 6 months.
5. What neighborhood do you live in?
Ex: I live in the West Village.
6. Why did you move to NY?
Ex: Oh, for a job.
7. What do you do for a living?
Ex: I used to work in a department store, but now I am studying full-time.
8. What do you do for fun?
Ex: On weekends, I like to take the train outside the city and go hiking.
9. Why are you studying English?
Ex: I have to use English in my job sometimes.
10. What was one memorable lesson you had in a class? Why was it so memorable?
Ex: In one class, we learned note-taking skills. I still use those strategies today.
