My name is Mrs.

Vogt and this is the Elementary librarys classroom use policy in

regards to technology. We are very lucky to have many computers, video recorders, projectors, a
smart board, and DVD players. We want to make sure that we are taking care of ourselves and
the equipment when utilizing them. Please read over the classroom use policy, go over it with
your children, and have you and your child sign at the bottom to state you understand the rules.

1. Ask the teacher before using any of the equipment

2. Use the computers for academic use unless you ask the teacher
3. Do not have food or drink around the computers
4. Do not access sites that are not appropriate for school
5. Ask before printing off documents
6. Do not change any settings on the computer
7. Do not download applications unless they have been approved by the teacher
8. Do not touch the SmartBoard unless the teacher has asked you to
9. Be quiet when you are working on the computers
10. When you are finished with the computer exit out of the applications you were using
11. Wash your hands before and after using the computers
12. If you need help using any of the equipment ask your teacher
