New Womens Organization On TAMU Campus
Texas A&M University women will have the opportunity to join a
new student organization spring 2016.
There are over a thousand organizations at Texas A&M Universtiy
serving over 50,000 students. Pandey said, the officers are looking for
members who want to be a part of an organization that is focused on
the four pillars: selfless service, leadership, academic success and
sisterhood.
I really want to make an impact on the aggie community, said
Pandey.
According to Pandy, once the organization has members they
plan to host an event on campus for students and faculty to adopt
animals.
Dont shop adopt, said Pandey.
They also plan to get with other student organizations that have
a similar purpose to help save animals.
Sivani Pandey, co-president of the organization, said six girls that
shared a similar interest founded the organization in summer 2015.
The current officers of Leaders Excelling in Academic Service are
recruiting for new officers, to recruit general members in the spring
semester.
