Project Space: LACMA Art Museum
Museums have the best history description of different cultures. People should be aware
of the past because it is important to understand todays environment as how it has changed
completely. The Los Angeles County Museum of Art (LACMA) is an art museum which is
located on Wilshire Boulevard in Los Angeles. LACMA art museum provides the largest sections
of Islamic collections of art, Americas art paintings, and fun with good food for U.S community.
The main purpose of this museum is to represents history life of different subcultures so people
who are interested to know about other cultures, they can easily gain knowledge via LACMA
museum. This is the greatest and largest museum in California.
LACMA museums building is so huge and beautiful red color, and it attracts people and
college students outside of the museum. The outside parking lot space is really big and wide, and
people are buying permit pass for entrance for the whole day. The main entrance is just
incredible and unbelievable. There are a huge lamp lights located in the main entrance which
look like scary pillars from far also, they have awesome design as people walked through. It is
called Urban lights. Many people are excited to take pictures with these lamp lights. They hold

white pillars and hug them while taking snaps that proves they are really like those lights. For
example, the young girl said, I will visit this museum again at night so I would enjoy those lamp
lights at night. She is planning to visit again as she is really interested to see the night view of
those Urban lights. There is a huge crowd of people in the area of the general admission entrance
ticket. This place looks famous like everyone interested to get the tickets quickly, and they are
very fascinated and excited. Mostly, entire families are getting exhibition tickets and especially,
they book appointments and reserve their seats to attend specific events. Many of them visiting
as their first time experience, and they look surprise while watching around the museum.
The LACMA art museum is divided into three interesting and amusing buildings:
Americas building, Ahmanson, and Hammer building. The Islamic art collections and European
art at Ahmansons building, and of course the American art collections are at Art of Americas
building. The inside of each building has their own large stories which were full of amazing art
work paintings, and full of statues. The inside decoration motivated people to stay long inside.
The beautiful curtains look very clean and shine at the side of the doors or windows. Most of the
college students are looking around, and they take real interest of those paintings. For instance,
two groups of high school students spend most of the time at the Ahmanson and Americas
building. On the 4th floor of the Ahmanson building, there are lots of Islamic art culture
paintings, and European modern arts which has related information available top, the bottom or
side of all different paintings and pictures. The art collection is especially strong related to
Persian and Turkish glazed pottery, and tiles and glass materials. Most of the historical paintings
are related to Iran and Saudi Arabia. All of the Islamic art collection look new as artists create
those arts freshly and newly. They put many pictures on the large frames, and cover the corners

of the frames with beautiful designs. They background of all the art pictures is mostly black or
white so picture look descent and new. People can view or analyze closely and vividly. Some
pictures do not have just analyzing faces or events, but also they have writing letters to read.
More, on many of them written texts in different language, but also, facility to translate into
English language for white people. Some of them are written as a beautiful design which is really
hard to read, but it actually looks so surprisingly. Many people are recording videos of those
harsh text deign paintings or materials. The room has a fresh air like red roses and it was fulfilled
with huge grey carpet, and it has available benches so people can sit together and discuss long
about the paintings.
The Islamic culture of art paintings provides lots of history information and memorial
pictures of the past. The Iran tile was shine, glazed, and assembled as mosaic. It is the Madina
collection of Islamic art which belongs to the period of Timurid rule in Iran. This tile has
beautiful design like a sunflower, and it has beautiful colors. Other amazing old pictures are
about Shadi Ghadiran in which women are standing and cover their head shows their culture
personality that they are Muslims. She expresses herself as a Iran woman. She sits on a chair
with showing Islamic personality. The most of the paintings are related one Muslims god named
ALLAH. The picture is in shining blue color frame that represents ALLAH (one god) name
written as a large on the wall. Mostly Muslims are walking around that area where Islamic
paintings are showing Islamic personality. Most of them from Iran, Pakistan and Saudia Arabia
who are investigating much about these kind of Islamic paintings. There are many families with
their children who are enjoying happily while taking pictures with them. There are few white
people who look like professionals. They are discussing those pictures as they are doing their

projects. No one says against any other cultural art paintings, instead white people are asking
questions to the Muslim people so they would gain knowledge about their cultural history stuff.
They are discussing that Iran tile material and other art work with joy, but there are no Chinese
or African American people are walking too much around that area.
The Art of Americas building was located next to the Ahmansons building. There are so
many wall paintings that make you excited to know more about American history. Many whites,
Indian, Mexicans, Latinos, African American, and Asian people were recording videos and
taking pictures with beautiful paintings. For example, it is a huge painting hang on the wall and
the background was black so the front picture looks as clean as diamond. It was a Casta painting
from Spaniard and Monisca. The beautiful art work represents a gorgeous woman who is holding
a cute baby. The gorgeous woman named Morisca who wearing a jewelry and she looks so
pretty. Her face reaction shows that she is so happy about her life, and knows how to protect her
baby. Likewise, all other amazing paintings shows their own stories that are related to early
American period.
Not only the paintings and pictures are interesting but also, LACMA food is tasty and
delicious, especially the drinks. There is a fresh icy Orange Creamsicle shake that everyone
should try at least because there are many students who love to drink that shake. There is a long
line where people wait for getting the fresh juice drinks. The taste is so good like if you drink it
you feel like you are actual eating a fresh orange. The whole area is just amazing. The workers
are cleaning that area over and over again. They are wearing very a clean uniform.

Overall, you can feel so much comfortable while observing anything in fact, people
around you making you laugh and happy all the time. Everyone would have said, have a good
day or enjoy your day even if you do not know them. Many of them are sharing them
thoughts while you focusing the wall paintings. People in LACMA are so kind and respectful.
There is no actually social issue that people should be focused more on that, but, people are
interested to collect lots of information about other cultures. Who wants to refuse to visit this
kind of museum which provides us such an incredible and interesting cultural art paintings?
