Greetings in the name of St. Thomas Aquinas!
The University of Santo Tomas Junior Philippine Institute of Accountants (UST-JPIA), in
partnership with SyCip Gorres Velayo & Co. (SGV & Co.), will be holding the 11th Alfredo M.
Velayo Cup entitled: Mi11ennia: Champions of the New Era. The event will happen from
8:00 AM to 5:00 PM at the Velayo-SyCip Multipurpose Halls, University of Santo
Tomas, Espaa, Manila.
The Alfredo M. Velayo Cup is an annual national quiz bee of the UST-JPIA that celebrates the
memory of one of SGV & Co.s founding fathers, Mr. Alfredo M. Velayo. It aims to gather the
top accountancy students in the country to test their knowledge and skills in their chosen
field. This prestigious event will also generate camaraderie and healthy competition among
the participants.
In line with this, we would like to ask for your permission to excuse the following
students from their class on January 31, 2015 (Sunday):
