Chapter 1 Fate can be a funny thing

Mom!!!, Do we have to go? We`ve only been in our old
house for two months. Why do we keep moving? The quiet
little girl, who wore a dress which was as red as the crimson
sea of blood, uttered. Although now that I think of it, she was
fourteen. She found nothing of what she desired, what she
didn`t know was everything was about to change.
She ventured through the house, up old, creaky, mahogany
stairways and dusty, fermenting, rotting doors, of which
were near their ends as the brittle material wore away
because it was an asteroid shooting through space until it is
slowly diminished where there is nothing but scattered
remains of rock. Being her usual self, Sarah seeped through
the anticipation of dangers and swiftly sprinted to the edges
of the highest point in the house. In the attic, of which there
was only a damp wooden structured floorboard separating
her and a dreaded fate, she could make out pictures on the
wall, as her eyes fixated upon the lettering she could infer
the house used to belong to a woman named Mary. She

gazed carefully at the indents and found an intricate pattern

of Victorian, Egyptian symbols. She ran her young, fresh,
moisturized finger upon it, running it down every turn and
every twist. She heard a slight CLICK of the picture as
hovered to the side, due to mechanical workings, it exposed
and unshrouded a huge revelation. At first it was thought to
be a safe for treasure and money but inside Sarah`s eyes
darted towards the golden lined, diamond crescentic locket.
She flourished over it with her hand and was surprised of the
outcome.
A glow, bright like the erupting volcano it is, shone within the
glass that was as clear as the waters from Lake Lucerne, but
no, it was no glass. It was an aquamarine gemstone. She
held it in awe.
Sarah, I need your help to make supper! Come quickly!
Shouted Sarah`s kind hearted yet over protective mother.
Since their Dad left them Sarah`s been the closest person
Anna ever had. Anna was [as she usually is] wearing a dark
marine magenta skirt with a subsiding Circassia Sea faint

cardigan topped with a wine red ringed necklace. Meanwhile,

the attic was now a place for astral projected demons and
entities from the greater darkness to enter.
This is what was surely her end. Sarah lay peacefully as she
laid he soft skull onto the heavenly white sheets. She struck
awoke and walked out of her bedroom door. She was only to
find her mother not in the house, she leaped outside and in
great shock found a world covered with mist and fog. She
breathed in and out like that rubbish calming CD told her but
her blessed and cursed gift of seeping was now doing her
wrong.
A woman, dressed in black or at least from what she could
make out of it, stood staring. Sprinting with all the
vehemence she could muster, Sarah ran back to her room,
her locket glowing brighter than the galaxy of the most stars.
She now understood what was happening she was
Travelling she returned to her body after watching herself
sleep.

She was flabbergasted the day after and explored into what
TRAVELLING was; Astral Projection, when a soul leaves their
body and the vessel is raw for another being to enter. Also
known as travelling.
This is what made a strong taste of trepidation run down
Sarah`s spine, her face was watering and her vision was
blurring. Her mind whirled and soul sunk. What is following
her?
The next morning was an insufferable nightmare; all she
could see was a dark grey outline rampant on a field of
sadness. And with each passing day this `demon`s` power
amplified until it could finally break free.

Sarah was sleeping but someone was watching her
