Descriptive Paper
CD 109

I started my observation when the children were arriving, so when they come in the have
free time. The girls where drawing Butterflies, flowers and trees they talk about the colors they
would use and how to draw. The boys on the other hand were on the computer and blocks. At
10am they have breakfast. This was one of the moments where they talk none stop. One boy say
I want to be a worrier and a police officer to get the bad guys other group of kids are talking
about fruit kiwi and strawberries are my favorite, I have new jeans because is my birthday
and they blue LOOK! ; Im not hungry , I drink chocolate milk and sandwich . Still at
breakfast one of the teachers Mr. Martinez was great with his literacy, he talk to the children
explains and shows what they are talking about. He keeps a constant conversation with every
child asking extensive questions, for the children to engage in extensive answer. One of the kids
ask Mr. Martinez can you help me write a letter to my mom, she sick. After breakfast they go
and brush their teeth while they do that the children talk. Hey u didnt brush your teeth right!
MIS BROWN!, I CANT FIND MY BRUSH! Every tooth brush is label with their names.
Mr. Martinez sat down with this child and wrote the letter he asked help with; Mr. Martinez told
this kid I wrote it now you copy this on your paper. As the kid wrote his latter Martinez,
helped pronounce the letter and words as he writes and he fallows. Mommy drink medicine to
get better, but first you has to eat. In gym the kids ran stretch and yelled, I had to leave because
the kids where getting distracted with me they were asking question like what are you doing

here? Whats your name? What is that? Pocked my nose, Overall the kids where really
talkative throw out my visit.
