During her first practicum in February, Sarah quickly established a unique and positive connection with each student, which she continued to develop with voluntary weekly Wednesday visits. During her final five week practicum, Sarah prepared relevant, creative and engaging lessons based on the new curriculum; she clearly understands the range of abilities in the classroom and prepares each lesson accordingly. Sarah has a calm demeanour, clear expectations and a sense of humour, which set the tone for a positive classroom climate. Sarah's strong communication skills in both French and English, ability to manage and organize a large class and desire to implement feedback were evident throughout her practicum.
