AT&T: Full Throttle

March 23, 2016

Vamos a Mxico!
AT&Ts It Can Wait campaign continues to grow nationwide. In a recent study
conducted by AT&T, 92 percent of urban Mexicans reported using their cell
phones while driving. Due to this shocking statistic, the campaign toured Mexico
to encourage drivers to keep their eyes on the road, not their phone.
Starting in Mexico City and expanding to surrounding major cities, Mayor Miguel
ngel Mancera plans to work with the campaign to combat inattentive driving.
Citizens will be able to experience the It Can Wait Driving Simulator to see
firsthand the real dangers of being on the phone while operating a vehicle.

How To Save a Life
Everyone has a few favorite friends to constantly keep in contact with on a daily
basis, but did you know that AT&Ts research shows that 4-in-10 surveyed
people do not consider if their texting partners are driving or not?
New research from AT&T reports that if the top 5 contacts would ask friends not
to text and drive, 85 percent of people would be likely to stop using their cell
phones while behind the wheel. Ask a friend, and you could save a life.

AT&T Garners More Support From Our Friends At Disney

Since 2014 Disney has been a supporting partner of AT&Ts It Can Wait
program, educating Walt Disney World Resort cast members on the dangers of
texting or using social media while driving.
On February 29, 2016, the It Can Wait campaign visited Disney World at which
1,500 employee pledges and 5,000 tourist pledges were received. Due to the
high participation, AT&T will be bringing the driving simulator to Disney World
later this year.

Mark Your Calendars: World Safety Day
Get ready for World Safety Day April 28, 2016. Being a safe passenger is just as
important as being a safe driver. This years focus is vehicle safety: making sure
the safety inspection is up-to-date, getting regular oil changes and maintaining
car necessities, such as emergency gear (i.e., first-aid kit, jumper cables).
