A RESOLUTION ADOPTING THE CALABARZON MARCH

COMPOSEDE BY MR. AGAPITO __ CARITATIVO, __________ DEPED

RIZAL FOR REGION IV-A COMPOSED OF THE PROVINCES OF
CAVITE, LAGUNA, BATANGAS, RIZAL AND QUEZON
WHEREAS, a hymn like the flag symbolizes the unity of a
people, a community, an organization or a nation;
WHEREAS, Mr. Agapito Caritativo composed a hymn for a
Region IV-Aaptly titled Calabarzon March;
WHEREAS, said hymn has been adopted by DepEd and
played and sung during Region widw sports events and other
occasions, since ___
WHEREAS, there is a need for its official recognition and
adoption by the Local Government Units within the Region;
NOW THEREFORE, RESOLVED as it is hereby Resolved by the
Provincial Board Members League of the Philippines, Region IV-A
Chapter to recognize and adopt the Calabarzon March as the
official hymn of the Region.
RESOLVED FURTHER to give the amount of Twenty
Thousand pesos (P 20,000.00) to Mr. Caritativo as a token
of appreciation
RESOLVED FURTHERMORE that copies through CD with
accompanying lyrics be provided to all provinces in the region
