Lesson Title: Picture This

Grade Level: 6th grade
Subject: Social studies
Curriculum Goal: To have students illustrate the words in a written text using
charts, pictures, videos.
Learning Objectives: Help students remember the amendments to the
constitution by having them present a powerpoint using visual aids to inhance
their learning.
Equipment Needed/Materials:Computer, powerpoint, internet, clipart pictures
Lesson Summary:Class discussion on the amendments/ constitution. Then
students will be asked to go home and create a powerpoint using 5 of the 14
Amendments. In the powerpoint they are to come up with pictures that will help
them remember the Amendments they chose. Have students put the
amendments in their own words.
Integration of Technology:Powerpoint will help students have a visual aid as well
as teach one another.
