3. REVIEW
‘THE Giver shows us a utopian society that is just and righteous;
this rectitude makes the book captivating and thought provoking.
The central point of this story involves one main decision made
by this community: give up all emotions in life in order to live @
stable life
This supposedly perfect world is very attractive to the reader.
The community follows many rules that were set by common
accord. Some readers will not agree with this kind of society,
but maybe others wil find it attractive to live this type of life.Ee SSE CTS
4, RECOMMENDATION %
We believe that people should read this book, because it will
teach us a life lessons from the story.
‘One of the main topics of the book is Individual Expression
‘Should be Valued. This is an educational life lesson because It
shows us that being different is normal in real life. In our current
society, some people want to be the same to be accepted.
However, the author will show us that conformity is dangerous
just ike people without individuality. Its very important to be
individuals and to be ourselves so we can grow as a person and
become wiser from your memories.
In Jonas’ society the only wise ones are Jonas and The Giver,
who are the only ones with memories. The rest of the citizens
have no memories and they know so little about their actions,
Which makes them unwise.
In conclusion, we think that you can learn a lot of things
from this book, and it has so many themes.FT eT aU
