Artist Statement
Love and Passion for Art

I started my artistic work in
Germany approximately 20 years
ago. My first step was to learn how
to use watercolors for two years, but
I found out it wasnt my choice of
medium at this time. After that I
explored oil, acrylic, and soft pastel
for a couple of years. I currently
work most of the time in pastel,
Chinese Brush Painting (water
color), and sometimes in oil.
I also had training in drawing,
sculpture, and ceramics at
American River College. In 2014, I
stared sculpture classes at California State University, Sacramento with clay,
wire, plaster, and welding process.

My first art show was a drawing in 2012 in a gallery in Sacramento. In
2014 my second piece was showing in Crocker museum, it was a collage made out
of paper, magazine, or fabric for the Education Department with in the Crocker
museum. In 2015 and 2016, I had some art work such as drawings, acrylic
paintings, watercolor, and pastels paintings in the Elk Grove Gallery. Every year I
participate in the Treasure Series at Elk Grove Gallery, creating small panels
with any medium of my choosing I like.
My education goal is to finish my Art Education in Fall 2016 at California State
University, Sacramento.
