To Whom It May Concern:
As a response to your ad on your website, Id like to be considered for the position
of Medical Lab Technician in your laboratory.
As a Senior Biochemistry student, I have hopefully already become well-versed in
quite a few laboratory techniques used currently in your lab, and Im excited to
learn more if youll have me. I have had clinical practice in quite a few protein
purification and assay techniques, as well as bacterial cell culture techniques, but
as of yet have not had the opportunity to work with human cell lines.
As a result of taking the full gamut of Anatomy and Physiology courses offered
here at UNM, as well as Immunology, Molecular Genetics, Intensive Biochemistry
and Biochemistry of Disease, I also have read up on and studied many of the
techniques used in your lab and have a solid understanding of the theories and
practices including the staining techniques, cytotoxicity assays and cancer
biologies and pathologies. Though I have not performed them myself, I have
gained the intellectual basis to understand further techniques and will be able to
record the data therefrom accordingly.
I am confident that my theoretical knowledge, paired with the clinical experiences
Ive had thus far, qualify me exceedingly well for your open Medical Lab
Technician position. You can be assured that the results youll receive from me
are honest and faithful to your patients.
My resume is attached alongside this document. I look forward to working with
you! I can be reached at cboyack1@gmail.com or by phone at (505) 227-9341 if
you have any further questions.
Sincerely,

Cameron Boyack
