It was four in the afternoon and all the

deadheads had
already been rounded up,
shot, and burned. The smell, you get use to it,
you have to. It's the only way to survive now-adays.
Frank walked up to the car. "We still going out
to
Dunwich today? Or did something else come
up?"
Frank had been annoyed with me the last
couple of days. I've had a new girlfriend and
being with her has caused us to miss a few
apointments. Frank doesn't like missing
anything, or being late, or breaking the rules.
Doesn't mean he wont do it, just that he
doesn't like to.
"No, Elizabeth isn't going to interrupt work.
Im sorry I've been letting this effect our work,
it's just been a long time since I've been with
anyone, since..." I couldn't bring myself to say
her name.
"I understand. But you need to get your head
on straight. You know our line of work, you
know what we do. You need to be focused, not
distracted."
Finnaly he got in. I started the car and drove
toward Sentinel Street.
