Declaration of Refusal
Declaration of Refusal
Declaration of Refusal
When in the course of completely unrelated events, it becomes
necessary for one student or students to assemble the remaining
fragments of their incredibly sleep deprived mind, and to refuse,
against the will of the school board, to complete what they feel to be a
completely unnecessary assignment (Locke) to which they did not
consent (Rousseau), a decent respect to the opinions of mankind
requires that they should declare the causes which impel them to
refuse.
We hold these truths to be self-evident: that (although completely
irrelevant) all men and women are created equal; that they are
endowed by the creator or deity in which they may believe with certain
unalienable rights; that among these are life, liberty, and the pursuit of
happiness through the maintenance of their mental health and the
ability to opt out of unnecessary assignments in order to decrease their
immense workload (Rousseau); that to secure these rights, declining to
complete assignments is an applicable institution, deriving its just
powers from the frustration and hell naws of the student at one
oclock in the morning.
To prove this, let Facts be submitted to a candid world.
