The OPD (Out Patient Department) is the part of the hospital that provides facilities
for the diagnosis and treatment of patients who do not need hospitalization.
It is located at the north wing of the hospital building, it offers consultation services
for pediatrics, general medicine, obstetrics and gynecology, orthopedics, vaccines
and performs minor surgery cases.
General functions:
1. Consultations, diagnosis and treatment
2. Prevention of certain diseases
3. Education, research and training
Objectives:
To provide quality medical, surgical, dental and nursing care to patients who come
for consultation
To provide a good training and opportunities for affiliating students

4. It has NHCAP section that provides medical assistance
5. Minor OR
- Located in the north wing of the hospital inside the OPD complex. It has 2 beds
and is used for ambulatory or day surgery case
6. Dental Clinic
- Located at the north wing of the hospital inside the OPD complex. It is equipped
with 2 dental chairs. The clinic also handles dental surgery cases in the operating
room.
