CALL TO ACTION

WHAT IS LITTERING?
Littering simply means
throwing away objects on
the ground instead of
disposing them at a
garbage can, recycling
bin or trash containers.

STRUCTURE REASONING
We structured our brochure to inform the people about the
dangers of littering in our community.
As trash and debris can damage our community and the air within
it.

ETHOS
Our brochure incorporates ethos by giving the audience facts
about littering.

PATHOS
The way pathos is incorporated is by providing an image and also
listing who can be affected by litter.

LOGOS
Logos was incorporated by giving statistics and visuals.

AUDIENCE
There are two major audiences for the campaign: those who litter
and those who dont. Target audiences for littering include the five
major segments. These segments cause the majority of litter on
roadways. The first four segments are motorists or passengers who
toss cigarette butts, alcoholic beverage containers, food wrappers,
or other beverage containers from their vehicles. The fifth segment
consists of drivers of pickup trucks that dont have properly secured
loads and who dont clean out the back of their pickup trucks
before driving.

CONCLUSION
Throwing items into a garbage
can or recycling bin is a good
habit.
1. Stop littering yourself.
2. Spread the word to family
and friends.
3. Start cleaning up
4. If you see trash on the
floor, pick it up .
