BELEIVING THE SUFFICIENCY OF CHRIST
TEXT:JOHN 14:1-14
INTRODUCTION
The Gospel of John was traditionally believed by the early church to have been written by
Apostle John. The book contained rich theological contents concerning the divinity of Christ
Jesus as the son of God.
Following the prediction of Jesus of His death on the cross and the denial of His person by
Peter, John recorded in the Chapter 14 of this book of Jesus words of consolation to His
disciples at the last supper and He gave them a full and complete revelation of himself. Great
learning took place in this chapter due to their inquisitive minds. Jesus Christ told them
emphatically to what I summarized I am your all sufficiency.
The Sufficiency of Christ means that He is all we need to survive and depend upon.
