The Power of a Pledge
Breaking the Pledge:
Overall Difficulty/Ease in Keeping the Pledge:
Some of the major difficulties that I encountered during this project were: peer pressure; spare
time; family expectations; and group planning. Peer pressure was a major concern because my friends
would constantly recommend different TV shows or video games that they believed that I need to play.
This made me want to spend more time and power to watch these shows or play these games. To go
along with this, an availability of spare time would help to push those urges to another level and make
it more difficult to ignore.
