    WHEN YOU CAN‘T THROW A PUNCH: Poems have always been a favorite of mine. They be a certain feeling and emotion using a minimalistic number of earefully considered words. I wanted to puta creative twist onto the poem by adding an underlying message in it. The first word in every line is pieced together to make the main point [-wanted to get across. The rest Sf the poem can be enjoyed as a side note and building onto the main idea. | got the idea for this from looking atthe different types of abuse on the Center For Relationship Abuse Awareness page, It shocked me how many different types of abuse there is, wanted to convey that to the J readers i DOT HERE: 1 used a visual of the gir!'s body with arrows pointing to different spots saying this is where ste gets abused the most. The visual helps this information stick into the reader's “head. If you notice the spots in which mast abuse occurs on a body then you could tell that these injuries are very easy to hide with either clothes or makeup. This visual is used to show the reader how abuse victims.can live amongst us and don’t even know it, The information for this ual is provided by personal knowledge. TAKE THIS TEST...: | chose a magazine test because I thought this would be the most fun and really engage the reader into what I am trying to teach. I asked the readers if they did these abusive warning signs and wanted to shock them when some of them probably chose B which is a slightly abusive tendency, I Hhink the last question is what will relly hit hard for some people. I believe it reveals the true nature of a person. Ifyou looked ahead to see which leters not 10 ‘choose because you wanted to make sure that you were not associated with an abuser because ‘you know you're not an abuser that most likely means you were scared. You were scared that ‘you were going to be labeled as something you're not. But what do you have to be afraid of if You're so sure you're not an abuser? The Center For Relationship Abuse Awareness on the warning signs page is where I got my information. I took the warning signs that are most likely
