    Makeatacomoldbyrollingoutaluminumfoilandfoldingitoverin10inchincrementsuntilyouhavea4sheetthickpieceoffoil.Foldthelargefoilsquarein
    halfhorizontally,bringingthebottomtothetop,andthenturn90degrees.Crimpoverthetopandbottomedgesby1inch,andthenfoldoverthesidesby1
    inch.Placethealuminumfoilrolloranarrowrollingpinintothecenterofthefoilsquareandbringthesidestogethertocreateahollow,narrowtubetomold
    thetaco,makingsureitcanstanduponthelongside.
    Heattheovento250degreesF.
    Heatthepeanutoilina12inchcastironskilletovermediumheatuntilitreaches350degreesFonadeepfrythermometer,about5minutes.Adjusttheheat
    tomaintainthetemperature.
    Shape1tortillaaroundthealuminumfoilmold,formingatacoshape.Usetongstoholdupthesidesagainstthemoldandputthebottomofthetortillaintothe
    hotoilandfryfor20seconds.Lay1sideofthetortilladowninthehotoilandfryfor30seconds.Flipthetortillaoverandfryforanadditional30seconds.
    Removethetacoshelltoacoolingracksetoveranewspaperlinedhalfsheetpanandcoolfor30secondsbeforeremovingthemold.Sprinklethehottortillas
    withkoshersalt,totaste.Repeatfryingprocedurewiththeremainingtortillas.Keepthetacoshellswarmintheheatedovenwhilepreparingthefilling.
    Drainallbut2tablespoonsofthepeanutoilfromtheskilletandreturntomediumheat.Oncetheoilshimmers,addtheonionandcookuntilsoftenedand
    lightlybrownedaroundtheedges,about3to4minutes.Addthegroundmeat,1teaspoonsalt,andgarlic.Cookuntilbrowned,about3to4minutes,stirring
    occasionally,tobreakupthemeat.AddTacoPotionandbeefbroth.Bringtoasimmerandcook,uncovered,untilsauceisslightlythickened,2to3minutes.
