I have had the pleasure of working with Ms. Catherine DAgostino for over three months here at Udall Road Middle School in West Islip. Teaching American History at the eighth grade level, it was an absolute pleasure to work with and instruct Catherine during this period of time as her cooperating teacher. Ms. DAgostino presented interesting lesson plans on a daily basis that kept all students involved and motivated, and it was a pleasure to mentor her during this process. The amount of time she has put in to her lessons, lesson planning, and into her overall experience here at Udall has been absolutely commendable. She displayed a tremendous amount of professionalism and enthusiasm for educating students and her passion for history continued to expand during our time together. Ms. DAgostino has attended team meetings with other teachers, faculty meetings, parent meetings, and has earned the respect of the faculty, staff, and students here at Udall Road. She has developed quite a rapport with all of the classes she has taught here at Udall. It would be in the best interest of any school district to have Ms. DAgostino teaching Social Studies to todays youth, as her excitement and fervor for education and history is truly something to be appreciated.
