ARBOREALS

Ability Scores. +1 Constitution, +1 Wisdom


Age. Arboreals mature at about the same rate as a human, but can live to be far olderreaching ages
in excess of 1,500 years or more. The most venerable of Arboreals can be 3,000 years old.
Alignment. Most Arboreals favor neither an evil or benevolent alignment, preferring to be neutral in
all things. Arboreals are typically true neutral.
Darkvision: Accustomed to twilit forests, you have superior vision in dark and dim conditions. You
can see in dim light within 60 feet of you as if it were bright light, and in darkness as if it were dim
light. You cannot discern color in darkness, only shades of gray.
Plant Traits. You are immune to poison, stunning, and sleep effects. In addition, you dont need to
sleep and are considered fed after spending 4 hours in sunlight.
Languages. You can speak Common, Elvish and Sylvan.
Subraces. Two main subraces of Arboreals exist in the Known World; Rootlords, and Thornlings.
Choose one of these subraces.
ROOTLORDS
Ability scores. Your strength score increases by 1.
Size. Rootlords stand between 7 and 8 feet tall and weight between 270 and 340 pounds. Your size is
medium.
Speed. Your base Walking speed is 30 feet.
Natural AC Bonus. You have a AC Bonus of 14 + your Dexterity modifier.
Gaias Resilience. You can focus yourself to heal injuries. Roll a d12 and add your Wisdom modifier
to the number rolled, and heal yourself for the total result. After you use this trait twice, you cant use it
again until you finish a short or long rest.
Natural Healer. You have proficiency with the Medicine skill.
Powerful Build. You count as one size category larger when determining your carrying capacity and
the weight you can push, drag or lift.
