Once an Apple

Hold up a fist; This is an apple. Hold

up other fist, This is also an apple.
Have the students hold up their fists as
well.
Demonstrate and teach the stomping
portion for out of here
Show the chant on the board (?)
Model the chant for the students with
the movements.
This next time through it is the
students job to say apple and follow
the motions while the teacher does the
rest of the chant with the motions.
Repeat once more.
Begin teaching the chant from the
beginning line by line, students repeat
each line.
The next time do in two line chunks,
with the students repeating and
motioning two lines at a time.
Have the students stand up and try the
whole chant together with the motions
from the beginning. Teacher guides the
chant.
Have the students do the chant alone
but the teacher should still do the
motions.
