This has reference to IOM of even no. dated 04.11.2015 and subsequent fax messages vide No. 2(1)/OBC-MO/2015 dated 05.01.2016 and 29.01.2016 on the subject mentioned above. In this regard, new paperless service for Declaration of OBC status by employees has been launched in WEBICE. Under this service, those employees whose category in SAP-HR system is maintained as ‘General category’ but originally belong to ‘OBC category’ can upload their OBC community certificate in WEBICE. * For this, employees have to logon to WEBICE and select the node Personal Information. * Then select the node OBC status declaration and complete the process. Detailed enhancement message has already been circulated to all the concerned. The same is also available in WEBICE. This provision of updating OBC community status may be brought to the notice of all concerned employees giving wide publicity. Concerned employees (Executives and non-Executives) whose status in system is General category but belong to OBC category may be asked to upload relevant documents in WEBICE.
