Many writers dont care who reads

their work, but I write with a specific
reader in mind. My dream reader is
looking for a character they can
relate to and a story they can share
with their friends and neighbors that
will spark a conversation. He or she
lives very much in the real world and
pays attention to arts and culture as
well as news and current events. My
dream reader cares about others and
hungers for visuals, audio, videos,
infographics and more to capture the
whole story. Thats who I want
cheering me on as I write and its
who I live to serve with my craft.

Emme Raus is a journalist and

creative writer living in Atlanta, GA.
She is on track to earn her B.F.A. in
writing with a minor in creative
writing March 2017 from The
Savannah College of Art and Design.
To her, the meaning of life is the
relationships we have with people and
she expresses that by writing about
hope in hopeless situations. Emme
also likes including multimedia in her
writing and is an amateur book artist.

Natural Creativity: The Legend of Treehouse Guru Peter Bahouth

Built 16 years ago, Peters infamous Airbnb treehouses lie

nestled in patch of vegetation in the middle of an upscale
Buckhead neighborhood. There are three in total situated off to
the side of Peters glass house, all with a name and aura rooted in
well-being: Mind, Body and Spirit. For the last three years, theyve
served as a snug Airbnb vacation suite for newlyweds, weary
travelers and those looking to escape cubicle life.

Young Adult Novels Influencing Social Consciousness

Now more than ever, the book market is targeting the teenage
demographic with novels that marry fully fleshed-out characters
and imaginative, compelling plots in order to teach young people
that what they have to say is important. YA literature is a genre
that empowers adolescents and gives them hope and a voice.
