WWII Influential leaders

Introduction
There were many leaders in WWII.
Without the leaders of WWII, there would have been no war.

Influential leaders of the Allied forces

Franklin D. Roosevelt. Franklin Roosevelt was the 32nd president of the U.S. and helped lead
the country through World War II and the great depression

Harry S. Truman was the 33rd President of the United States from 1945 until 1953. Truman took
office after the death of Roosevelt. President Truman ordered the Atomic bombings of Hiroshima
and Nagasaki in 1945. After the war he oversaw post-war recovery efforts.

Winston Churchill Prime Minister of Great Britain, was apart of the allied forces in World War II,
gave motivational speeches to help boost morale during the war.

Josef Stalin was the absolute leader of the USSR, asked for help from the allied forces to help
stop the Nazi Germans. Played a huge role in the defeat of Germany in WWII

Influential leaders for Germany

Adolf Hitler was the leader of Nazi Germany from 1934 to 1945. He initiated World War II and
caused millions of deaths.

Himmler, Heinrich was the most feared German leader, he held the power of life and death over
all and did not mind using it. He was quiet and introverted but with so much political power that
he was even allowed to have his own armies in addition to the Gestapo, the secret police force.
The Gestapo was one of the most powerful and cruel police forces that ever existed.

Why were they so powerful?


All leaders of WWII held a lot of power and due to their beliefs, this was a big
contributing factor to the start of WWII.
Without the leaders of WWII there would have been no war.
