It is @ premier institute giving preparations to lIT-JEE and other Engineering Entrance Examinations. Started in Delhi cn the year 1992, itis currently present in almost all state capitals (around 57 cities) across the country, Does FIITJEE give Coaching only to lIT-JEE or how is FIITJEE different from other Institutes? a. Even though the FIITJEE Programs speak about lIT-JEE Coaching the preparations are given comprehensively for other Competitive Exams like NTSE, Olympiads, KVPY. and also Engineering Entrance Exams like AIEEE BITSAT etc, FIITJEE’s USUQ program prepares students for SAT. SAT Il and AP (For admission in US Universities). Students who are willing to join have to appear for an admission test conducted by FIITJEE Based on the performance in the admission test various programs will be offered ng to histher class. Why can’t we get direct admission for FIITJEE Programs? There are 2 reasons for it. One main reason is that FIITJEE’s programs are specialty programs preparing students for coveted entrance examinations like IITJEE, KVPY, NTSE, SAT etc. Not every student will be able to appreciate the extra load. By way of admission test we endeavor to ensure students have sufficient base knowledge to appreciate the program. No. It is based on the current patterns of IITJEE, AIEEE or NTSE, SAT ete, Our admission test is not restricted to a particular curriculum, It is designed to check the overall ability of the student instead of just commang of the subject. The IQ Test is specifically designed to test a student's potential for IT-JEE. How frequently is FIITJEE conducting admission tests? Normally FIITJEE admission tests almost happen twice every month from January to July every year on Sundays. In case of short contact programs admission test happens from August to January. FTRE is an All India Level Competitive Exam lke NTSE, Olympiads, KVPY, IIT-JEE etc. It is conducted to identify meritorious students and encourage them to get better education by providing FIITJEE Programs with a lesser fee in the form of scholarships. But Admission Test is only an entrance exam to join FIITUEE programs How many times can a child appear for the admission test? A student can write the admission test only twice in an academic year. If he / she have already taken the FTRE, then he / she can write it anly once. What are the subjects to be prepared & what is the QP pattern for the admission test? At the Jr level, for students seeking admission to class 6" - 10" the subjects for testing are IQ & Sci + Maths. At the Sr level, for students seeking admission to ciass 11” and 12" or 12" pass, tests will be conducted in IQ & Phy, Che, and Maths. Both Question Papers in admission test are of objective type (Choose the correct Answer). Each correct answer gets the score of 3 marks; for every incorrect answer ne / she lose one mark and no marks are deducted for n-attempted questions. No, generally there is no practice of returning or viewing the Admission Test Answer sheets Does FIITJEE Provide Scholarships? Scholarships are normally offered through FTRE & Admission Tests. FIITJEE also has the policy of granting scholorships to meritorious students with high achievements in NTSE, KVPY, and Olympiads. . What is the cut off for getting selected or getting scholarship in admission tests? ITJEE’s admission test is being evaluated with the similar process of competitive exams. Based on the Question Paper difficulty level and overall performance given on a particular date of the exam, the percentile system of selection is given both for the program offering as well as Scholarship Why doesn’t FIITJEE conduct online admission test? The students from rural areas are not aware of with online exams especially in the lower classes like 6th, 7th & 8th Even the most coveted exam like lIT-JEE, NTSE etc are written exams only. Moreover it will take some more time for India to develop facilities for online exams in bulk. |. What are the class timings for FIITJEE Programs? Class timings will vary with different programs. Integrated school program is conducted during the regular school hours itself all 6 days in a week. Classroom programs are conducted after school hours in the evenings (3/4 hrs per day, 3/4 days in a week) or on Saturdays & Sundays (3hrs on Saturday & 6Hrs on Sunday) or on Sundays & holidays (6 Hrs).
