Chemical Warfare
Between 3,000 and 12,000 men,women, and
children died from being used as human
experiments for chemical warfare during Second
Sino-Japanese War and World War 2. This was
new warfare that they were experimenting with at
the time. None of the things Japanese did were
ethical.

Biological Warfare
Hundreds of victims of biological warfare still
suffering from painful wounds originated more
than 60 years ago when their village was
attacked in 1942 by Japan with biological
weapons.

Mass Murder
At least 300,000 chinese civilians and soldiers
were murdered during the Nanking Massacre.
About 20,000 women were also raped during this
time.

A Couple Years Later...


August 15, 1995 Japanese Prime Minister gave a
formal apology for Japans actions during the
war. He expressed his condolences and hoped
that these tragedies would never again be
repeated in Japanese history.

What Happened to the Bodies?

Many bodies were just left in


the street, some were buried,
and others were burned.

Unit 731
It was a research and development unit for
chemical warfare. They used innocent civilians to
test the different chemicals on. Not all who died
were chinese, 30% were russians.
